Game Boy Advance Games on Android

The Game Boy Advance might be the easiest system to bring to a phone. The games are small, the screens are small, and a modern phone has power to spare.

Most of these are static recompilations. The game's code gets converted into a regular Android app ahead of time, so there's no emulator running in the background. And that opens the door to things an emulator can't do well, like Fire Emblem letting you tap units directly instead of steering a cursor.

So bring a backup of your own cartridge. Some ports also want a GBA BIOS from your own console, and each game page tells you exactly what to have ready.
